Is Florence Crittenton seeking new board members?

Yes, Florence Crittenton is currently accepting board applications for our Board of Directors. Board applications are reviewed throughout the year by the Governance Committee and new board members are onboarded in cohort groups in February and August each year.

What is the commitment level to serve on the Florence Crittenton Board?

Board service is a 3-year term with the option of serving two back-to-back terms. Board meetings are held monthly on the 4th Tuesday of the month at 6:00pm.

Are there expectations outside of board meetings?

Board Members are asked to actively participate in one board committee. Board committees meet monthly and carryout special projects as needed. Board members are asked to contribute financially at a level that is meaningful to them.

What is role of the board?

The board of directors provides oversight, helps to set organizational direction, ensures necessary resources, and supports the Chief Executive. Board members serve as ambassadors, advocates, and askers to further the work of the agency.
