TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) – Touring Topeka’s coffee shops next month is an easy way to raise awareness of mental health, and support one local mental health organization.
Shelby Revelle with Florence Crittenton Services visited Eye on NE Kansas to kick off Cups for a Cause.
Shelby said people will be able to purchase a Cups for a Cause card for $30, with the money going to Florence Crittenton. Those who visit all 10 participating shops during June and July will be able to visit the FloCritt office the first week of August for a special gift.
Shelby said they also hope to raise awareness for their organization. Florence Crittenton provides a variety of behavioral health and wellness services to child and adolescent girls and their families. They also have several community outreach programs, including free exercise programs held at their office.
